The Castle's history is also a history of Weddings, such as those of Alberto Ridolfi's daughter Lucrezia and, in 1852, Baron Bettino's daughter Elisabetta: it could also become the history of your wedding, against a background imbued with extraordinary beauty. Features and seated meal capacity of inside rooms

The Castle offers, on the Main floor, a series of furnished and frescoed rooms from 16 up to 350 seats in different rooms. Also available a banquet hall in the Stable, with a capacity of 150 seats in the same room.

Details of outdoor wedding venue

At guest disposal there are two beautiful gardens, a splendid terrace overlooking the Chianti hills and 2 swimming pool areas.

It can get married within the venue ?

The Catholic marriage can be celebrated in our Pieve di Spaltenna, just 2kms far from the Castle. For symbolic weddings you can use a frescoed indoor room, or the garden or the small private chapel of the castle. For the civil ceremony we suggest both, Gaiole in Chianti situated at 2km distance, as well as Radda. Otherwise we have beautiful gardens and rooms in the Castle for a blessing.

How many guests does your venue can accommodate overnight ?

At guest disposal there will be up to 30 rooms in apartments and rooms in the Castle and Canonica.

Does your venue allow to use only one space for the wedding reception or it's required the exclusive use ?

The wedding venue is always given in exclusive use for the wedding reception, i.e. it's not necessary to rent bedrooms.

What restriction ( if any ) on music ?

Music is allowed no later than 12:00 pm, unless you don't book all castle's bedrooms. In this case, the music may continue until 2:30 am on the main floor of the castle. To continue music in the garden, until 1:30 am, and in the Stable, until 2:30 am, you have to book all the apartments too. Beyond this scheduled time limits we require an extra-time payment of euro 200 + VAT each half-hour more music playing. Moreover, clients have to absolve and pay SIAE practice. Without proof of the payment of the copyright, the music will not be allowed during or after the wedding.

Do you offer parking ?

Yes, up to 100 cars.
